A Few Bad Pickets Should Not Take a Sales Call.
Every wood fence in Wichita loses pickets. Wind cracks them. Sprinklers rot the bottoms. A mower clips one and a dog does the rest. The fence is fine. It just needs a few boards.
The Fence Tune-Up is $379 to replace the pickets in up to 3 sections of fence, about 24 feet. Pickets only. Your posts and rails stay. Need more than 3 sections? Each additional section is $149. You book by phone or the form on this page. The crew shows up this week, does the work, and leaves. Our crew fixes the fence. Nobody sits you down at the kitchen table.

What You Get
Pickets In. Old Wood Out. Report by Dark.
What the $379 Covers
- Picket replacement in up to 3 sections of wood fence, about 24 feet. Every broken, rotted, or missing picket in those sections.
- New cedar pickets, screwed to your existing rails. No nails.
- Old pickets hauled off. The yard is clean when we leave.
- A written Fence Condition Report by email the same evening, with photos.
Not Included
- Posts. A leaning or rotted post is a bigger job than a picket.
- Rails. A broken rail needs the section rebuilt, not re-faced.
- Gates. Gate hardware and sag are their own repair.
- Staining. New pickets go on raw. Stain is a separate service.
Stain, larger repairs, and vinyl are separate services. Ask and we will price them separately, in writing.
The Fence Condition Report
If the crew sees a post or rail that is failing, they note it and photograph it. You get a written Fence Condition Report by email the same evening: what was done, what they saw, and what a full replacement would run. No sales pitch on site. Our crew fixes the fence. Nobody sits you down at the kitchen table.
Read This Before You Book
New Pickets Will Not Match Your Old Fence. Not at First.
New cedar is tan to orange. Your old fence is weathered gray. The new pickets will stand out until they weather, and that takes several months. Staining is not included in the tune-up. We would rather tell you now than have you find out when the truck pulls away.

FAQ
Fence Tune-Up Questions
How much does it cost to replace fence pickets in Wichita?
Ovora’s Fence Tune-Up is $379, fixed. That covers broken, rotted, or missing pickets in up to 3 sections of wood fence, about 24 feet. If more of the fence needs pickets, each additional section is $149. No estimate visit. The price on this page is the price.
Will the new pickets match my old fence?
Not at first. New cedar is tan to orange. A fence that has stood through a few Kansas summers is gray. The new pickets will stand out until they weather, which takes several months. Staining is not part of the tune-up. If a match matters to you, we can talk about staining the run as a separate job.
How fast can you fix my fence?
This week. Same-week scheduling is the whole point of the tune-up. Call (316) 640-1590 and we put you on the schedule while you are on the phone.
What if my fence posts or rails are bad too?
The crew still replaces the pickets you asked for. If a post or rail is failing, they note it and photograph it. That goes in your Fence Condition Report the same evening, along with what a full replacement would run. Nobody pitches you in the yard. You read the report and decide on your own time.
Do you nail or screw the new pickets?
Screws, every picket. Nails work loose as cedar shrinks and swells, and a loose picket is usually why you are reading this page. Screws hold through the freeze and thaw cycles that move a Kansas fence every year.
Does the tune-up work on any kind of fence?
Wood fences only, any standard picket-on-rail build. It does not apply to vinyl, chain link, or ornamental iron, and it does not cover gates. If the fence you have is past a tune-up, our fence cost estimator will put a range on a new one in about a minute.
