Four Cedar Styles
Most people picture one cedar fence. There are four, and the board pattern changes the look, the privacy, and the way the fence handles wind. Here is what each one actually is. Drag any panel to see the back of it.

Stain is optional and quoted as its own line. Colors on screen are close, not exact.
The Wichita default
Solid cedar boards set tight, edge to edge, on one face of the rails — the clean, classic wall most Wichita backyards ask for, built from full-dimension boards.
Modern, and it hides nothing
Cedar boards run side to side, set tight, with a 2x6 cedar cap on top. Clean lines and a solid wall, on the same hidden steel posts as every other cedar fence we build.
The finished top
The standard privacy section with a 2x6 cedar cap laid flat on top and a 1x4 cedar trim board across the face under it. The cap sheds water off the end grain, and the trim line makes the whole run read as one piece.
Good on both sides
Boards alternate front and back of the rail and overlap at the edges. It looks finished from your yard and your neighbor's, and air moves through it — which matters on an exposed run.

Stain & Color
Cedar silvers on its own, and plenty of people want that. If you want a color, there are twenty-six. Stain is optional and priced on your quote up front. We stain existing fences too.
